Head Coach Crystal Baker

Crystal Baker joins us for her first exciting year as head coach of the spirit squad at Dana College. Coach Baker has worked with many different dance and cheer programs within Nebraska and formerly was the coach at Creighton University.

The former Jays Dancer turned coach has been teaching dance and cheer for the last 10 years. She currently is an instructor at Mary Lorraine’s Dance Center in Omaha where she is the competition team director.

Crystal also is on staff at the Omaha Community Playhouse for educational dance workshops.Crystal has been a competitive dancer since age 7 and has had formal training through high school. She has attended multiple dance and cheer intensives through NCA/NDA (National Cheer Association / National Dance Association) and UCA/UDA (Universal Cheer Association / Universal Dance Association) and is a certified coach through NCA.

Crystal and her husband, Robert, live in Elkhorn with their two children Robbie and Aubri.
